Like most chain emails, that is not true at all. I hate the college provision, but I actually don't mind the armed services provision. That said, I'm not for the bill.

I wonder what the origins are for chain emails. Who starts them? Is it militia guy? Art Bell or Lew Rockwell? WorldNetDaily staff writers? I just don't get it. Is there money to be made in these?

we should start a chain email. See if we can make it to snopes. If we all send it to the people we get them from, it'd be spread in no time. Plus, it's not on snopes (yet) so nobody can debunk it.

Subject: BEWARE NEW DISEASE DANGERS!

Recent news has come out certeain STDs are now being transmitted in the air. Studies show that STDs on the campus of Radford University are so wide spread, the diseases are starting to genetically mutate. Local residents downwind of the campus have started to develop spontaneous cases of gonorrhea, blah blah blah blah.

there actually is an email already with all kinds of absurd eagle "facts". Unfortunately a flock of eagles is not one of them.

Just so you all know, I did begin saying that I valued your input on the content of what I posted.

I have come to consider you all friends and wise ones at that and that is the only reason I felt comfortable posting the material. I just wanted your view point.

At least 2 good things come out of this, 1) I have learned a valuable lesson, don't ever post in The Courtyard... you guys will eat me for breakfast, lunch and dinner and then spit me out!!! and 2) I had more replies to this post than any other... even though they were for the most part negative... all except two, HMO and jcmanson, thanks guys for looking out for me!

Okay, so this is good-bye for me and I know RubberMallet is thrilled to see me go! Back to the tennis world where I belong!

uhm, nobody said anything worth getting your feelings hurt over.

It's all JB's fault... You have to have some thicker skin to come in this section of the boards, but at the same time this is where things get very interesting. Just wait for convention time this summer - man oh man will that be fun.

Im trying to send nicer ones now...but yeah jbock and I have had our disagreements (if you agree with everyone, you are either a simpleton or a yes man)

but if you disagree with the athletic dept then you are a hater...I am so confused now

lol...Im just saying that youll never 100% agree with every person. It doesnt matter if its the athletic department, your boss at work, your girlfriend/fiance/wife (depending on your relationship context), your parents and in-laws, that guy that ran into you in rush hour traffic.

Speaking of the athletic department, I know I come off as a kool-aid drinking, our coaches do no wrong sort on here, but I have my own frustrations with things in that regard, I just tend to keep them off the public forum.

those are the kind of posts that restraining orders are built off of.
