Adherence to Constitutional standards/limitations. It's irrelevant what they believe on other issues if they're willing to continue the directly anti-Constitutional approach of Bush 41/Clinton/Bush 43/Obama.

A lot of #6 could be rolled in to #1. After doing that I would probably keep it in the same order you have it already haha.

Also, not that everything up there isn't important, but #5 would probably be last for me at this point.

If there are other topics, or I did not word one exactly right, I didnt want that to stop people from sharing exactly what it is they look for in a Presidential candidate.

All I know is if Ron Paul doesn't win its clear that the fix is in!!!!! :D

Seriously here are mine:

1. Truly believes in the constitution
2. Getting our spending under control

I believe that that alone will allow states to do their own thing and the social issues will be handled at that level like it should be.

One that's pragmatic in solving our country's problems. We need to invest infrastructure and energy, and redefine our foreign policy. Why are we giving aid to our rival China? Why are we giving aid to Pakistan which, while officially opposed to Al-Qaeda/the Taliban, is proving to be a safe harbor for such ilk? I also want one that will streamline and consolidate government agencies, policies/regulations to reduce redundancy and red tape, and improve efficiency. Oh, and one that continues to believe in and invest in our military so that we remain the unquestionable #1 world military power.
