The world lost an iconic CEO today, probably the best in the last few decades. Man changed technology. His skills and his (non-publicized) charitable contributions will be missed. Thank you

Has anybody checked on El Scorcho this evening?
Seriously, prayers go out to his friends & family. He lived an incredible life that has impacted most all of us in some fashion.

As much as his death and life's work have been mentioned on facebook and the other social media sites, i would only hope there will be someone that has that same celebrity status who would influence the world for Christ.

One of the great inovators of our time and he died too young. With that said his death has brought the apple cult to a whole new level. There are good, Christian people basically worshiping this man. Its kind of disturbing.

I am not saying because people like the products they are part of the apple cult...I like a lot of apple products myself, but there are some that have gone over the deep end with their love for apple and have given steve job's a god like send off...its a bit too much for me

he had an amazing ability to market slightly better than average technology and make it seem like superior scientific advancement. my financial portfolio will certainly miss him.

I'm personally sick of all the Steve jobs post in my twitter feed. It's not like Jesus arose from the dead and died again, although that's the way it seems everytime I go to twitter...
Sure, Apple put out some good products, but it's not like the whole mp3 player and smartphone world wouldn't exist if not for him...

100% agree...I'm not slighting Jobs at all, but some of his mega fans are really taking this over-the-top.
