Do you think the Career Center does a good job of helping students find employment after graduation?

It is just one small tool in finding work in the marketplace. But nothing works better than doing your own networking.

I believe I answered that question on a Scantron my senior year. No opinion then, no opinion now.

My observation is that they don't have enough contacts with businesses to be able to offer students opportunities that would otherwise be available at larger institutions. Now whether that is due to lack of leadership in the career center or just because of the nature of LU, I don't know. It certainly would be a selling point for LU if they could promote being able to actively place students in positions of opportunities.

This idea is one small part of an article about the changing of the guard with University-Alumni relations posted over in the US News Rankings thread (here: http://flamefans.com/viewtopic.php?t=1708&start=30)
