Good teaching moment... why does it matter that it's history from a black man's perspective? Is it not whether it's good history or bad history? Why should we be surprised?
Sorry, it's a sticking point with me. Let's call good history what it is, and bad history what it is. It shouldn't matter what skin color the person is telling the history.
