Anyone else using it yet? Anyone have any thoughts about it? I got the free account but upgraded it for a month to test out on our drive as we move next week, but wondering if anyone else has used it at all

I use it, mostly just to play music I already have. A lot less bloated than iTunes. If I want to stream anything, I just go to spotibot.com, type in an artist, and let it generate a playlist of similar music. Kinda Pandora like. Once Pandora goes to HTML5 for me, I'll just abandon spotify for most streaming stuff until they add some sort of suggestion type thing.

I attempted to listen to the top tracks from the USA on there. Made me lose a lot of faith in humanity.

Ok, so I signed up to get an invite on the site a really long time ago with nothing since. Do you guys who use it have invites that can get me in faster?

How do you send invites? I didn't spend much time w/ it, but didn't see an invite button.

So far, I am digging this app. But I admit that as an Old Hag I could use some assistance in finding some newer artists with a Christian-bent in their lyrics. I don't follow music much these days. My tastes lean toward Switchfoot & needtobreathe. Somebody point me in the right direction.

Try The Myriad, Mae ('The Everglow'), Delirious, or Starfield. I think they may be more palatable for older ears.

Also, if you like U2, a friend of mine has just signed up to tour with a Nashville band called Shirock as their drummer. They have a horrible name, but they're basically a carbon copy of U2.

I think if you venture into the New Music thread we had you could find some suggestions.

I'm in! It's neat but I was probably more excited than I should have been. I'm more of a car music listener and I already pay for XM.

Speaking of car. Scorchy said something about being able to link your playlists and whatnot with your phone. I'm just not sure how to do it or how much $$$. I currentl just use the PC program on my laptop but I love it. Got to hear the new Switchfoot single on it last night.

if you go to spottily.com and login in the footer theres a share page or something like that. are you a premium user? I think you only get invites if your a premium user.

I thought I had hooked up nearly everyone on the board with G+. PM your email address that you want invited.

Thanks for the heads up, Alumnus. But let the record state these older ears can handle much harder music than what passes music today. I am just old enough to appreciate the lyrics a little more than when I was younger.
