Roku vs. FiOS TV

Someone give me some more info on this. I'm thinking about getting Netflix Instant and ditching my high monthly FiOS bill. Is Roku the way to go? The only thing I'm concerned about missing out on is sports. Would I be able to get most major sporting events live on Roku?

Unless things have changed in recent days, the answer is no. Live sports are the ONLY reason I could see sticking with cable/fiber these days. But that one reason is significant.

You got that right. Its the only reason I have FiOS.
