I agree wholeheartedly.

Anybody else want to offer up their favorite chip?

Sly, these are what I grew up on, but I don't know if they were available on the other side of the Ohio River: http://www.shopmisterbee.com/

Not a chip connoisseur, but I've always been partial to Cape Cod potato chips.

Yeah, they had Mister Bee at the SuperValu grocery store in the Ohio town where I grew up (and incidentally where I noticed Phoenix checking in yesterday on 4square).

Oh Cider...I love Mr. Bee's!
My mom's family is from West Virginia, so we spent a huge amount of our childhood there, and LOVE those chips!

Mister Bee's! Although it's also the most greasy, unhealthy chips ever... haha. We always get some in P-Burg and bring them back to VA.

I used to like Sun Chips, but the environmental nonsense and those stupid compostable bags were the last straw. I couldn't eat those chips without scaring the crap out of both of my cats because they freaked out anytime you even touched the bag. I'm sure you all know what I mean.

Also, trying to remember what spicy chips are made in Georgia. I got some in a store in NC awhile back and they were awesome, so spicy, but they don't have them anymore. Bummer. It escapes me what name their called, I know it's two words. If anybody could help me remember what company they are, it'd be awesome.

I love these things, and can't get them here. I try to stock up when I'm in Virginia or Maryland.

Grew up eating these in SW NY. Nothing fancy, just really good chips. They used to sell them in a round cardboard container. My brother and I would cut out the bottom, tack it to the wall and use it for a Nerf BBall hoop.

I remember those round cardboard containers. Had forgotten about those until you mentioned it. Snyder's chips used to come in those too. About a gallon of 'em. Never thought about the Nerf hoop usage, though. Very creative.

TDDance, do they still have that Mr. Bee Billboard in Pburg? I think it was located not too far from an A&W Root Beer drive-in.

There are a couple, I believe. If I remember correctly, they aren't doing the best financially.

Is there still an A&W on Staunton Ave. (rt. 47)? I usually go by there when I'm there but I haven't been to P-burg in awhile. Although I'll be going back in 2 weeks for a wedding.

My wife's favorite (She's from PA)

Notice a bag is $3.59 - I could almost by a whole gallon of gas with that kind of money!

My favorite:

Only place I've been able to find these are Sheetz, and they're the small bag.

Yeah, I have to admit, when I first saw the title of this thread, I thought for sure it was about golf. Whoops.
