I just hit 2000 posts with my last post in the football section. This is a proud day for me.

I'm only 400 posts behind Sly and catching up quickly. About 2 months ago I was about 600 behind him. He'll pull ahead during football season with game threads though.

take you laptop w/ you to the games.

does Williams have wireless? I would think so, near the press box anyway.

I can't remember right now. I'll find out.

those game threads are a post padders dream. You can easily score 50+ from a basketball game. I can't imagine what he can get from a 4 hour football game.

i never thought someone would make a run at being the "king of post padding" like the medic, but SJ, you are well on your way! congrats :D

At this rate, he'll catch up to Wilt the Stilt.

In the time it took you to write that last post Luconn, Medic's percentage went up 3 points (kidding Medic! I am really on you today for some reason).

That's the downside to A) not having a laptop and B) being in the marching band. I can't post in the gameday threads when we are at home (and I won't be able to do that for the Coastal or Wake Games either)

BJ, if you ask anyone, I think they'd all tell you they'd much rather be at the game than posting in a game thread.

Unless you are GMTM and you post while actually participating in the game as an announcer! Not to mention IMing folks. PAY ATTENTION SON. :)

I agree wholeheartedly with SJ. If I could be there I would. But game threads are my only outlet since my wife doesn't want to hear me groaning about coahcing decisions or field goal attempts hitting uprights.

Nothing wrong with your outlet--although I don't think there will be the frustrations as in year's past.

In fact, if we all want to become wealthy, take Liberty and the points in every game this year.
