You run into athletes who command attention on pure talent alone. You marvel at those who capture an audience while under intense physical or mental demands. These individuals and moments often connect the arena of sports and real life.
Jenny Schiappa played both sides during her four-year basketball career at Bible Baptist School. The 6-0 forward tallied more than 1,000 points along the way and even willed the small-school Bobcats to the PIAA tournament in her senior year.
While the challenges she faced then seem trivial now, it makes perfect sense to let Jenny tell you the reasons. After all, this is her story.

People who moved onto college always told me that when you first step on campus, you want to immediately feel like you’re home. Like all the best things about your life, including the feeling you get by spending time with family, good friends, was suddenly transported with you.
I had probably visited 10 schools and, although all were excellent, I finally understood the moment I reached Liberty University. I just thought it was tremendous. I could just see myself living there for the next four years.
