I wonder how many students, staff maybe want to head to LU. Especially those in the aviation related programs.

The article seemed to indicate that perhaps it was the rising cost of equipment that is affecting the aviation program. And I suspect the meteoric growth of a similar program a couple states north likely had an impact as well.
Generally speaking, the rest of the majors are not the types of programs that generate alumni who give back to the school.
Much like LU Online for us and Abeka for PCC, BJU's distance education programs are keeping the school in solid shape financially by all indications. But making these changes is a smart move at least from my distant view from Houston.

Interesting. It'll be good if it helps the school stay on solid financial footing, and atleast they are letting students finish their current programs.

Undergraduate programs to be discontinued include Art Education, Business & Commercial Aviation, Camp Ministries, Electronics and Computer Technology, French, German, Missionary Aviation, Organ Performance, Studio Art with Three-Dimensional Concentration and several associate degree trades programs such as Aircraft Maintenance, Automotive Service, Cosmetology and Residential Construction along with the bachelor’s degree in Business with a trade concentration.
Organ Performance??

I didn't notice that. That is funny. I'm pretty sure the pool of people who want to take organ performance is limited. lol.

I love those who complain about all our rules and the Liberty Way... Bob Jones is even more strict. Way more strict.

People will always find a reason to complain thats why you just ignore them. You can't make everyone happy. All that matters is that your happy, and if the Liberty way is good for you then thats all that matters.
