So yeah, the clicker question for attendance in my math class was "who was the 2011 FCS championship winner's mascot". And he it was the Auburn Tigers...

I proceded to attempt to explain that was FBS, not FCS...

Yea, professors love it when you correct them in class, esp. the first week of the semester.

What's the purpose of a "clicker question"? And what does it have to do with attendance?

I politely stated that he was mistaken, in front of about 70 students. 10 had the right answer. (Eastern Washington Eagles)

Technically, they weren't FBS champions. They were only BCS champions. FBS only has a mythical championship via the polls.
