Report is now she is still alive. I know they reported her dead when you posted this though.

While the congresswoman is now reported to still be alive, there apparently are fatalities among the others who were shot.

It is now reported that among the dead are a young child and a federal judge.

The guy who supposedly shot the Congresswoman is kinda strange:
First he rambles on about the currency not being based on Gold and Silver, but then allegedly his favorite books are the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf...
I have some thoughts as to who this guy may be, but I'm not certain yet so obviously I will not post my thoughts here at this time.

I was reading this on politico.com and the comments there some people are blaming it on the tea partiers. Geez!
