Spicy Chicken Biscuits

Everybody seems to be getting their samples from Chick-Fil-A. Spicy seems a dicey breakfast proposition for some our stomachs. Is it worth the potential reflux for the flavor?

That's a YES! Had two this week. They are pretty exceptional. I believe they moved to #1 on LUConn's Chick-Fil-A hierarchy.

I got mine on Tuesday. I really liked the spicy chicken sandwich they introduced last year but it was not good enough for me to pass up on the original when I'm at Chic-fil-a. Having said that, the spicy chicken biscuit was perfect. I'll definitely be switching to that over the original whenever I'm there for breakfast which unfortunately is not that often. But I highly endorse this breakfast sandwich.

I haven't tried it yet, but I only go there for breakfast because my daughter likes it, and sometimes we get free chicken biscuits at work. Otherwise, McDonald's, Hardees, and Bojangles are all better than Chicfila when it comes to breakfast, so I don't have much reason to go there.

Can I still sign up for the free spicy biscuit, or did I miss my opportunity?

Never mind, still a lot of reservations left, but tomorrow is the last day for it.

What's chicfila sauce? I've seriously never heard of such a thing. I only use mayo.

You're missing out. It's Chikfila's version of honey mustard. It's wonderful.

As for the biscuit, not bad. I won't go out of my way to get another though.

The special sauce is awesome. I was very disappointed when I moved to KY, and got a chicken sandwhich only to find no sauce. I didn't know it was just a VA thing.

I got one this morning...just the right amount of spice...not too much to be overpowering but just enough to stay with you for a little bit after you've eaten it. I occasionally would have the spicy chicken sandwich when I got lunch in between seminary classes and I enjoyed it...I'll definitely be getting the biscuit from time to time as well

We've never had a problem finding Chic-Fil-A sauce outside of VA. I don't think it's just a VA thing. But I agree w/ the only mayo talk. Mayo is the only thing that belongs on a chicken sandwich.

I once had a student whose claim to fame was that she was from the hometown in Virginia that invented the special sauce:
Chick-fil-A's new sauce developed by a local franchise owner
Date published: 5/29/2008
BY CATHY JETT
Hugh Fleming never named the wildly popular sauce he created out of necessity for his Chick-fil-A store in Spotsylvania Mall.

Customers, who have been known to get cranky if the tangy, honey-mustard concoction with a hint of barbecue sauce isn't available, have called it everything from "that special sauce" to "Mr. Fleming's sauce."

Now they'll have to ask for it by its official title. Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A has turned the creation, which had been available only in the Fredericksburg area, into its Chick-fil-A sauce.

Wow, that is even more depressing, because i've never seen the sauce outside of VA. That's funny that the article is posted from Spotsy since thats where i'm from. I never knew that it was adopted as a national sauce. Now I gotta find some...

It's basically the honey mustard with a little bit of all the other sauces mixed in
