A Sea Of Red

This has been the most up and down year in my short life.

from law school, divorce, separation from my son, moving across the US, politics on the mtn lol, and an assortment of little deflections of what life once was, I have spent the last 6 months in serious prayer and see that 2011 will be something great. Thank you to those who gave me encouragement this past year...(HMO, ABC news ladies are awesome ) Have a great New Years everyone!!!

I love seeing the wisdom of experience. Hopefully we all can overcome the challenges of 2010 and live better as a result in 2011.

2009 was a year of change..a new career, a new city, there was a lot of excitement...2010 on the other hand there was little excitement. A year of waiting. Working day in and day out. My wife working hard and not being able to quite get out of the dead end job she has been stuck in. All and all it has been an uneventful year, a forgettable year, but when I look around me and see the unhappiness around me I realize God has blessed my wife and I more then I deserve.

Sometimes uneventful is better then eventful.

2010...the settling of the excitement at the end of 2009. Like thepostman, uneventful but blessed.

2010 was a year of preperation and transition for me as I plan for some huge life changes in 2011. The first half of the year was spent helping my mother sort through 60 years of memories as we prepared to sell her house here in Lynchburg so she could move to Indiana, where she is now settled into a beautiful new geriatric-friendly apartment my sister and her husband have built onto their house there. Since then I've been starting to get my ducks in a row to make a big move myself.
