Movie: Inception without a doubt. That's a top 3 all time movie for me
Music: Mumford and Sons (caveat - I really don't hear too much new music these days)
TV: Tough call, Breaking Bad or Walking Dead. I think WD might take the cake since it successfully got my wife interested in zombie apocalypse related discussion. I really wish I could say LOST finale.
What do you mean by moments? TV moments?

Movie: Avatar (ok, maybe it officially came out in 2009, but I saw it in theaters in late January 2010).
Music: Katy Perry "Firework," Nelly "Just a Dream," Eminem/Rihanna "Love the Way You Lie."
TV: Season finale to Grey's Anatomy

I love movies that have a complex plot to follow, yet if you simply pay attention, you'll understand it. Similar to the Back to the Future trilogy. You can parse it, dissect it, whatever in discussions and there's always a reasonable explanation as to why something happened (assuming you accept the basic premise of the movie). It also included a HOF fight scene, the Christopher Nolan gang of actors, HOF Hans Zimmer score, great special effects as a compliment to the movie, not the focus. I could go on.

Oh I also wanted to mention I've been digging Paper Tongues this year. It's an appropriate shout out on this board since they're another in the line of are-they-or-aren't-they Christians bands.

Charlotte based, touring with Switchfoot and Flyleaf points to they are, but they could always pull a Chevelle once they hit the big time.

+1 on this. They got a good deal of pub in the Tampa area....Trinity was on air every 30 minutes.

lead singer of the paper tongues is pretty outspoken about his beliefs, but i have no idea where the rest of the band stands...regardless they make some great music and put on one heck of a live show

Paper Tongues is one of those bands that is made up of Christians but doesn't call themselves a Christian band. In fact the song LUconn posted was a distinctly "Christian" song before they went mainstream

(just listen to the chorus and especially the bridge to see what I'm saying)
