Let me start by saying, I don't see very many movies.

Ben Affleck is currently filming a movie in my small town. He is renting a house near my home which has created a minor commotion in the normally calm daily Oklahoma life. Last week and this week they are filming on my street. I have seen a movie or two of his in the past, but I don't remember what they were. My question, are there any really good movies that he has been in that are somewhat redeeming?

Interesting story that took place recently. The neighbors living next door to the home that Ben/Jen are renting have a sixteen year old son. Recently, he answered the door bell and Jennifer Garner was standing there. She says, "Hi, I'm Jennifer. Last weekend, your family was away and we borrowed your play set and I wanted to come and thank you. I made these cookies for you." He will be telling that story when he's 80 years old.

If you can get past the language, his movie Good Will Hunting is one of my all time favorites. Oh, and his wife is from the same town where I was born--Charleston, West Virginia.

He was good in Good Will Hunting and The Town. The guy has talent but has made some horrible career choices. Oh, he was also in Dazed and Confused but not in a starring role.

All time favorite movie is Good Will Hunting. Language is a little rough but it's brilliant. Ben and Matt took some flack for always being in the same movies...Matt went one way (making brilliant movies) and Ben went the other making some really really bad movies but some decent ones in between.
