this is a steal from a fox sports radio show i listen to in the AM..The first team with steve czban. they do this every other friday on what you are so done with in the world of sports. things that you just can't stand anymore. i will start this off by saying IM SO DONE WITH... fans who call themselves "a nation". you can only be a nation if you have a national draw across the US. steelers, cowboys, raiders are a nation. hokie nation does not exist. it is regional. but longhorn nation i would agree with.

I always thought it just meant the group of fans together were a nation.

That's quite a door you've just opened. But I'll give you one that I was going to start a thread on but now you've spared everyone.
I hate stupid sport radio/messagboard cliche terms! I'm done with them. Examples are, but not limited to, using the terms: "hands down" "period" "flat out" (that is the most overused one of all) "jump out of the gym" "without a doubt". There are more, but everytime I hear or read these terms, I cringe.

Along the line of sports cliche's that I am done with:
"arguably the best... ever."
"Are you kidding me!"

I'd have to go with:
"dipsy-doo, dunkaroo!"
I think Dicky V uses that at a minimum 10 times a game.

I'm done with using the term "LITERALLY" when its absolutely NOT possible in the given scenario.
As in: "he LITERALLY took his head right off with that hit!"
No, he didn't, you JA.
if he had, THE MAN WOULD BE DEAD.
you get my point.

Man the misuse of Literally is at epidemic proportions! It is all in our society and I am amazed at how many educated journalists and other folks on TV use it incorrectly. Yea I have to add this to my list.

you could say its LITERALLY out of control.
and you'd be correct

I agree. I yell at the TV all the time when news anchors, tv show hosts, everybody uses it wrong. It's not a hard word to use. People must think it's a word that is used to put emphasis on a situation.

I'll put the emphasis all over your face if you don't get rid of that avatar, which I'm so done with, and also people using "so" like that.
