Does LU have a memorial on campus for our fallen

students, alumnis who have given their lives for our country? If not, should we have one?

Fallen aborted babies, yes. Vets, no. I certainly wouldn't be against a memorial for LU vets.

I don't remember seeing one.
That might be something to pursue.

Excellent suggestion. In the past, we had discussed a memorial to Rock Royer; this would certainly be just as important - I recall the FB team helped plant flags earlier this year in memory of fallen soldiers, but something permanent for LU alum would be outstanding.

Well with 4000 acres there we should be able to have a little land for that. It would be nice if the alumni association took this and ran with it.

I would support this with my $. It's a great idea, especially in light of the fact that the war on terror is going to be a very long war. I agree that it would be a great thing for the alumni association to promote.

They do from time to time when they have announcements to make. So I wouldn't be surprised if someone spots this thread.
