Anyone ever been to Annapolis? The wife and I are going there for an extended weekend in a couple weeks. Suggestions on places to go or restaurants?

I grew up there. Try Chicken Ruths. It is a great Annapolis tradition
http://www.chickandruths.com/ . Also, about 20 minutes east on route 50, The Narrows Restaurant .It is located on Kent Island but it has a beautiful view of the Bay from the dining room.

Thanks. What about shopping? There's an outlet mall not far from there - is it any good?

The outlets are about 30 minutes south of Annapolis. They are Tanger outlets so they have pretty high profile store.

Its not a shopping or dining option, but the bridge over Chesapeake Bay that goes over to Kent was a HUGE hit with my kids when we drove through there a couple of years ago. I remember seeing those restaurants there in Kent & Chester and wishing that we had passed through around mealtime.
