After many years of using a very VERY low tech cellphone, I finally got my first smart phone. It's a Verizon HTC Imagio, a touch phone which runs on Windows mobile 6.5. I was looking for a phone with 3g service here but global capability and wifi. No Android phones meet that criteria, and the only BBs were the new Bold and the Storm2. I got an amazing deal on this phone with my company discount plan ($79 with only a 1 year contract) so I went for it.
I knew I would not have the benefit of multiple thousands of free apps for this phone, but it looks like there are a few good ones, and I'll be downloading some soon. Meanwhile, I'm just getting used to what the phone will do, and so far I'm pretty pleased.
Any veteren Windows Mobile users out there? what free/cheap apps have you found useful?
