Shopping for a gas grill that I can use for tailgating this football season. I have a sedan, so it's gotta be a portable one that can fit in my trunk. Any suggestions?? Here are some of the ones I've been looking at:
Weber Q
Coleman Roadtrip Grill
Char-Broil Grill 2 Go
Cuisinart Portable grill

Charcoal is the only way to go!

The Coleman one is really good if I remember right. Smoothie has one and he drives a sedan and as far as I know, it's always worked well for him.

The Weber seems to be a smash hit at tailgates here in Texas.

Thanks Guys!
Cider, you are right, nothing like charcoal! I'm just looking for convenience with this one though

my coleman tailgate grill is great. easy to load, fits in the trunk of my car, and you can put plenty of food on it. it uses the samll propane tanks you can get anywhere and the propane last a long time actually.

Thanks for the feedback. The only negative thing I've seen about the coleman grill is that you can't put the top down or it will melt...Is that true???

I've read a lot of reviews on Amazon and a lot of them noted that the only con is that you can't cook with the cover down. One person said in their review, "the handle melted off and the lock stuck, runing our first meal"

Thanks everyone! I ended up going with the Weber Q. Came across one in the clearance section at Kmart and then talked them into giving me an additional 20% off since they didn't have a box for it, so hopefully I'm pleased with it's performance

Masterful negotiation! I love hearing about a good bartering or deal.

I didn't even know the Kmart was still open in lynchburg...I wonder how much money they loose in a week.

I live in Fairfax, so the Kmart I went to was in Springfield. All of the Kmarts I've been in around this area are pretty sketchy though...

I LOVE negotiating/bartering! My favorite so far has been car dealerships...I got 6k off the sticker price of my car a few years ago, then went and negotiated for my friend and got him about 4k off of his---I love a good deal

Oh yeah, so I guess I should give a short review of the grill since I used it for the first time tonight...
Easy to light--just turned the knob and pushed the button and it lit instantly. Threw on 4 top sirloin steaks and they seared up nicely. Looking forward to using it for tailgating this season!
