Who And What Game

Simply guess which poster tabbed this famous quote, when, and who they were refering to.
They need to give this guy an extension. Sure, we've all seen him make some stupid calls from the sidelines, but he's getting players who can play. LU's been one (position) away from being a very good program for a long time. If he can finally get us a good (position), we'll be sniffing the top 25 in a year or two.

Paradox in reference to RD.

I have no idea who might have said it, but it wasn't posted here.
I would say it's referring to Karcher, and the position is QB, which would make it about 5 years ago.

I'm with Olldflame on this one but it was probably back on the old Firehouse site.

If I had to guess, I'd have to say RD, esp. with the "sniffing" reference.

I don't think anyone is delusional enough to have thought we should have been anywhere near the top 25 in men's basketball. The only sports where that would be half way realistic are football (FCS) women's basketball and track and field. The other thing is the importance placed on one position would tend to rule out anything but basketball or football. You could say either point guard or post for MBB, but the top 25 thing really isn't realistic. That's why I went with football and the QB position, which totally fits the latter part of the karcher era. Our coach made stupid calls, but he did recruit some talent, and we desperately needed a legitimate QB.
