When will people get the hang of email? There should be a whole website dedicated to the mishaps of the reply-all button. I know we've had plenty here at my work, and it's even funnier when they try to recall it, even though recall seems to be a function that doesn't actually work. It's Microsoft's way of putting a "Kick Me" sign on everyone who uses Outlook.

Abigail DuBearn, a member of the school's Educational Excellence School Advisory Committee, or EESAC, had asked Ravelo and other council members whether student representatives of the committee "could be notified today and be invited to attend and participate'' at Monday's meeting.

Ravelo, 44, then replied to DuBearn's e-mail with the message: "Advise her to eat sh-- and die." Ravelo spelled the swear word as it appears here — without the last two letters.

Maria Orjeda, the school's reading coach, who spoke on behalf of Ravelo, said the principal meant to send the e-mail about DuBearn to her assistant principal, Ramón Dawkins, instead of DuBearn.

I had a lot of hilarious reply to all fails at Genworth. The funniest one I can remember is someone asking a very generic question about their department and addressed it to like 3 "people". And one of those "people" was the address that like corporate uses for their employee newsletters that goes to everybody. The funniest part was people were answering her with messages like "I don't know" using reply to all. If you don't know, then don't reply! I swear we got like 100 emails that morning before somebody finally told everybody to stop replying because it was going to the entire company. Then the rest of the day my inbox was filled with embarrassing "recall" emails and when that obviously failed they proceeded to send mass apology emails. It's funny because you know some of those idiots who tried to recall their emails got the idea from getting a recall notice themselves. What made them think it would work? What is the purpose of recalling besides drawing attention to your idiocy?

Or the guy who gets the company-wide email notice, and hits reply all to say "I don't know what this is, please take me off your list". Dude, how long have you worked here?

It happened once when I worked at LU up in DLP, and the reply-all unfortunately included a student who was bad-mouthed in the email. I can't remember if it was me who did that or someone else.
