A Sea Of Red

So i'm looking at adding the sports package on dish network. It lists all these regional and sport alternate channels I can get. Do i actually get to watch the stuff on the regional networks if I pay for the package? Right now those channels show up on the TV guide, but I never can get anything on them because I'm not in the region.

You will get all the channels but any games that are part of a premium package, i.e., MLB Extra Innings, will be blacked out. For example, you will probably get NESN but all Red Sox games will be blacked out.
