Dark Shadows? The first time I had ever heard of that was Spence from King of Queens was going to a Dark Shadows convention. He described it as a "Vampire soap opera". I thought it was made up until I saw the first season was available on Netflix streaming. Now there's gonna be a movie. All of the Spences of the world must be ecstatic.

Dark Shadows was old school. It used to be on when I was a kid. Lots of ridiculously over the top acting and glares at one another.

Go back and watch them, all three were pretty horrible.

The first one was ok. You know where these superhero franchises go wrong? Multiple villains in one movie. There's probably other things but that is one glaring problem. The most recent Batman series seems to have been able to pull it off but that's really about it.

I'm surprised Mission Impossible 4 isn't listed, it's coming out in late 2011. MI4 is being directed by Brad Bird, who up until now has only directed animated movies (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille), so it should be interesting to see how he handles it.

Maybe Tom Cruise thinks IMAX makes him look shorter......
