barnes & noble nook eReader

anyone have one of these? i'm looking at getting one. And no the iPad is not an option - costs way too much considering all I really want is an ebook reader for books that aren't copyrighted anymore (think pride and prejudice, for example).

nook ereader is nearly half the price of the cheapest iPad - $259 compared to $500. and if I were to get an iPad, I sure wouldn't settle for the cheapest thing available since the storage capacity is too small and doesn't support 3G. the 32GB 3G model is the lowest I'd go with and that's $729, almost three times as much as the nook ereader
