Small plane crashes into building near Roanoke airport

Both the pilot and a passenger of a small private plane that crashed into the UPS Freight terminal near the Roanoke Regional Airport survived but with life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Fortunately, everyone was ok.

OK was not the right wording. I should have said that no one died during the crash. The "blowed up" quote distracted me.

I think they reported that one of the two died this morning.

I also saw on the news last night the guy who lived actually was reporting to have "jumped out" before the plane hit the ground.
