Law school team wins regional ABA championship

The team of Timothy Todd, Ben Walton and Matthew Hegarty was named Regional Champion, beating teams from Wake Forest University, the University of Mississippi, George Mason University and the top-ranked team from Georgetown University. They will advance to represent Liberty at the national competition in Chicago in April.
And at least 2 of them are LU Honors Program alumni! Study

Hegarty was actually my roomie my first year of grad school.

LU may not have the most stringent admissions standards around; but between debate, quiz bowl, and now this competition, it is obvious we are attracting and "coaching up" some pretty sharp students!
