Where did the kid get that typewriter, from his grandparents?!
I used to use one like that when I was in high school; it had been my mothers 20 years before that. I haven't seen a non-electric typewriter in years!

hilarious.
I also like the kid behind him on at least 2 diff message boards. Is this how classes run nowadays? WOW- I was 2 decades ahead of my time.

Oh, the memories...
During my first semester in college (1979), my parents ordered a Brother electric typewriter for me and had it shipped to my student mailbox on campus in Chattanooga. But I never took it to class to take notes; it was strictly for writing papers--for my bachelor's, master's, and part of my doctorate. I didn't turn a computer on until 1989 when I was going to Va Tech.
