TOUCH a life DOWN in HAITI

This is more geared toward those that will be in the Lynchburg area for the Super Bowl. A guy on my hall sold jerk chicken and curry chicken for the football games back in the fall. He woke up the other morning and felt like God was calling him to do something BIG in terms of a Super Bowl party. He is working on his business and has been asked to cater here and there for different events. He feels like a school-wide Super Bowl party to help support Haiti would be perfect! He is in the works of getting Demoss 1114 rented out, but his prayer is that this will become too big for Demoss, and will move to the Vines. He will be offering a buffet style meal starting +-2PM. The cost for the meal will be between $3-5 based on the amount of people that will show up. All proceeds will go directly to Haiti organizations. This event is to raise money for Haiti. If 5,000 students/people show up and just give .50 cents, that's 2,500 bucks! His prayer is that all giving would only come from a right heart, and not out of obligation or just to get some great food. Help spread the word to score a TD for Haiti.

Send me a PM if you are interested in helping.

Grace and Peace.

This event is only 2 days away! It will be held in North 1500 from 4:30-(end of game). If you've seen the posters around campus, it's going to be great! $4 (no entrance fee) a head for a full buffet of 7 different sides/courses. Come with a giving heart that is in the right place. Every cent raised at this SB party will go directly to Haiti. No middle man organization. The prayer is that everyone that shows up will get a better realization of how much the Haitians need the Lord, and need help. There is still a tremendous amount of needs that have to be met for these people. Hopefully you'll get to enjoy a great game and some AMAZING food as well!
