Richmond, VA - A day before leaving office, Governor Kaine is asking that the man convicted of the 1985 murders of a Lynchburg couple be transferred to Germany.

I just don't get it. He was sententenced to life and should serve at least close to that much. I mean he's only 42.

Kaine apparently has some political favors to repay before he leaves office. This makes no sense and as the WSET story says he did not notify law enforcement before doing this. He knew it would not be popular. Where has all the common sense gone?
