For the life of me I cannot remember this past season. Anybody know of a good recap? I remember Jacob is some dude who wears white and has an enemy. And then Juliet fell down in a pit and tried to set off a nuke.

oh yeah, good call.

I heard on the radio the other day that the State of the Union was going to have to preempt either the season premier of LOST or American Idol, and that if AI was chosen Fox would just air AI instead so they'll most likely screw LOST.

The only thing you need to know: Locke came back to life, but it's not really Locke.

When you're watching it, you remember things easily. I haven't seen an episode in like 9 months or something.

So last night they replayed the season finale from last year, with their usual helpful tidbits that pop up at the bottom of the screen. One thing they kept noting over and over, so it seems to be pretty important, is that when Jacob visited certain flight 815 survivors off of the island, he physically touched them. That's not something I really paid attention to when I watched the finale last year.

But I did notice that when he visited Hurley, it was actually after Hurley got out of prison, which was after the crash and after they had already escaped from the island. I wonder if that's significant.

I actually did notice it. It seemed sort of forced so I think they wanted you to notice.

I think it points to the idea that Hurley is an extremely pivotal character in this series.

I think Sayid has his encounter with Jacob after the island-escape too. I wonder if that means he'll live. I wish this would go on for two more seasons instead of one, there are way too many questions that will never get answered in one year.

Watch, this whole think will end as one big giant loop that plays out again with all different characters. Claire will be the new Rousseau, wondering who took her baby.

Yea...Sayid's encounter was after the island too...it is when his wife was killed by the car.

I watched all of season 5 in about a week and a half. It was great to see it all again to refresh for Tuesday night!

The first 5 minutes of the season has been leaked

I haven't looked yet. I'm debating it.

I won't watch till Tuesday. But there will be more spoilers coming out this weekend. They are doing a Lost premiere party on the beach in Hawaii tomorrow evening. It is free and open to the public. They are showing the first hour of the premiere.

My wife have watched season 5 for the last three weeks in anticipation. My wife has seen that 5 minutes that were leaked but I refuse to cheapen something so cool.

I have watched all of season 5 last week, and now I am most of the way through this list of the 10 episodes that you need to see before tonight. It has been some good Lost lately...and I can not wait for tonight!

This article is pretty good, and they talk about one scene that you need to see before tonight. It is from Season 1 when Locke and Walt are playing backgammon.

OK...first hour is done. Love it so far...so assuming that everybody is on the plane again in the future (maybe???) why the heck is Desmond on the plane?

Second...why is Hurley the only one to be able to see Jacob?
