Fios or DirecTV?

I've had DirecTV for about 4 years now and I get a pretty good deal from them. I have 2 HD DVR receivers and get their next to highest tv package for $75.99. A few years ago I was able to bundle that with my home phone and internet service from Verizon. My monthly bill runs me about $140 right now.

They just installed Fios in my neighborhood over the past month, and I can upgrade from my cable modem to Fios, keep the same phone package, and switch from DirecTV to Fios while paying $115/month plus tax. I haven't come across any channels I am giving up on my DTV package by switching that I would miss. So, it basically comes out to a wash financially.

Who should I go with?

FiOS if it is anywhere close to as good as U-verse. Do I need to mention FamilyNet?

I'd take FIOS ten times out of ten. You'll probably lose a few sports channels if you have the sports package w/ DTV but absolutely worth it.

FIOS all the way...I mean i never have had direct tv, but we just switched from bright house to FIOS and have been very happy with it...the internet is much faster and there are more channels then I had before for less money and like sly said there is the bonus of having familynet

Brighthouse doesn't even carry Fox anymore. Idiots. Same with TimeWarner.

I don't know about Fios TV but if it were available, I wouldn't waste any time signing up for their internet.

Time Warner made a deal with Fox so they still carry Fox. I'm with Time Warner and hate it but our condo association won't allow dishes to be installed. We'll be going w/ DirecTV as soon as we sell our place. If only FIOS was available in the Triad...

My Fios sucks. Nine times out of 10, both TBS and NBC are out, and other channels are all artifacty. It's awful.
