A seasonal FlameFans favorite is to list what you got for Christmas. Who wants to start us off?

An electric turkey deep frier (I used it already and works great, much easier than using a propane deep frier and cooks up an equally tasty bird)
Magellan GPS (I will be using this to find those "out of the way" campgrounds when I come down to Lynchburg for football games)
IPOD with 60 GB (an upgrade from the Nano)
4 lbs of Community Coffee gift pack (from Baton Rouge, LA and my personal favorite)
Starbucks via instant coffee pack (Instant coffee so good you would swear that it is not instant)
A Keurig coffee maker (for the office)
ESPN College hoops encyclopedia (To enlighten my college hoops knowledge of the past)
Sneakers, britches, and a lot of other stuff.

Everyone was way too genereous to me this Christmas (Especially my wife) and now I have to find room to put all of this stuff.

Good gift there. I haven't delved into it much yet due to watching movies and the NBA, but what little I have seen, it is quite fascinating and interesting.

Mrs. Cider and I went kind of Christmas light this year, as far as gifts go, but I did get:
1. a heavy long sleeve polo from LL Bean
2. a pair of winter leather work gloves
3. some heavy ceramic mixing bowls
4. a Craftsman digital tire gauge (with hammer, blade, & flashlight)
5. a bag of blueberry coffee from Hickory Farms

I second the being sick, except I don't have a sinus infection, rather a terrible sore throat and fever, and I got it this morning..... lame

My wife got a Wii fit. We started using it on carpet and it told me that I was perfectly fit. Then I noticed it was saying I was about 30 pounds less than I really am. So I put it on a tile surface and it told me I was overweight. I'll show you Wii fit.

Come on, Phoenix. You disappointed me. I thought you'd laugh at Sch14's jersey.

My phone I've been using for well over a month was my early Christmas gift after my BlackBerry finally bit the dust. Otherwise it was a bunch of clothes and enough gift cards & cash that I should be able to score a quality netbook.

I've spent most of the past 24 hours trying to help my little girls figure out their new Wii games. My son no longer has the machine to himself and he's not down.

And the biggest gift of all for me:

We have scaled back our gift giving / receiving over the last couple years and this year, it actually happened. Howver, I did receive one of my favorites in my stocking at home and again at my parent's home.

It always makes me smile.

Hoping for some gift cards once I get to Florida on Monday. Got dress shirts and a suit here - nd a case for my new laptop.

And two sick kids -- only thing worse than being sick myself has been having the kids sick and not able to enjoy their presents.

Agreed, don't have kids, but I hated it when my Dad couldn't watch the movies I got him last year due to illness, especially since he got the same thing I had just two days before!
