If anybody is still in Lynchburg on Christmas Eve, I'd like to invite you to my church's Celtic Christmas Eve service at Rivermont Ave. Baptist Church, corner of Rivermont & Bedford Avenues. We have 2 services tonight--7:00 & 9:00. Flame Convert and his family will be there along with Mrs. Cider and myself.

My 7-year-old son is practicing Away in a Manger on the piano right now for tonight's candlelight service at my dad's church. It will be his biggest performance to date and he is nervous. My dad always has me read Scripture and at the last minute he dropped the genealogies of Christ on me last year.

Like many families, we spend Christmas Eve at my parents and Christmas Day at hers. My three little ones can hardly stand the waiting right now.

At the grandparents tonight then at the parents tomorrow.
