Snow in Houston?

The prophets of doom are calling for 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow here in Houston. You read correctly. 2-4" of snow along the Gulf Coast in SE Texas.
Last year we were surprised by a 2" accumulation and 3 years ago we got up to 6" on Christmas Eve. Prior to that it had been decades since the last measurable snow.
I guess global warming is finally kicking in.

Light mix of sleet/snow so far. Some parts of Houston are seeing relatively heavy snow. But its 39 degrees at my house so nothing is really sticking. Kids are impressed though.

That's a very fair assessment. We now have accumulating snow two straight years for first time in recorded history ... 3rd time in four years. If this global warming continues we may all freeze to death.

We will know the end is near if Va Beach ever gets snow again. We haven't had measurable accumulation since December 2004.
