Let me get this straight. The AP sicks 11 reporters on Palin's book to do fact checking. They then dedicate 2 reporters to read through the 2,074 page Senate health care bill.

This is seriously like playing 5 on 8, with the 3 extra guys on the other team wearing stripes.

i don't hate palin. she's just not important. she's not qualified to be a vice president (all be it more qualified than joe biden) and NOWHERE near qualified to be POTUS.

I think many people too easily buy into the media portayal of her, just like they did with Obama. So many of us are quick to say how stupid people were to be so enthralled by Obama, but then do the same thing and believe everything about Palin. It seems there are only two things people are able to point to in making Palin out to be stupid, the VP debate, and the Couric interview. Unless it's live, interviews like that should basically be thrown out. The VP debate was obviously scripted for her, sure it was awkward to listen to, but I don't remember her saying anything dumb. And to me, lot of the criticism has a strong flavor of elitism to it.

I at one time thought the same thing, but as time has gone on she has said very little or done very little to prove that she is capable of doing the job of president or vp for that matter. But then again, I don't think many people involved with politics are capable of doing so either.

From everything I have read and seen.. she speaks in cliche's with very little substance...which is why I hope to God she doesn't get the nomination in 2012. If that really happens..then there is no doubt at all that Obama will win re-election..

My problem with her is that I have nothing of substance to point to in the other direction either. Nothing I have seen or heard from her strikes me as particularly great (or even good). I am not impressed by anything she's said. That's all I can really tell you. I'm not trying to tar and feather her. I just don't think there's anything there to be excited about or impressed by. She seems vapid to me.

It's not that I think she's terribly dumb. I just don't think she's terribly smart either. That's why I said what I said above. She currently strikes me as pretty typical of America right now. Pretty ho-hum. Boring. Lame. Cliche.
