The liberal activists are ticked off at these guys, but a vote for this bill would have been the nail in the coffin. Mike McIntyre, a Blue Dog who doesn't have to worry about re-election, also voted against it. Which should tell you all you need to know about the bill.

I'm shocked that Kucinich voted no. It must not have given enough control to the Nanny State for him. Either that or he was protesting the lack of funding for abortions.

They need to compile a list of all the Republican geniuses who voted yes on the abortion amendment (which is the only reason this thing passed) and then voted no on the bill. I thought these guys were politicians, did they really not see that happening?

But then they're on record voting against an amendment limiting abortions. I'm sure they knew what was happening but would rather get reelected.
