Two Florida school administrators face contempt charges and possible prison time for saying a prayer at a school luncheon.

Saw Matt Staver on HLN talking about this, pretty ridiculous. How do people in the ACLU not start laughing at themselves for how ridiculous

Oh, boy. I'm my school's designated pray-er at all faculty functions. If they pass a law like this in VA(not likely anytime soon), I'm not sure exactly what would go down.

"Lay is not facing jail time for praying, he said, but for violating a court order."
If the administrators were smart they would have had a moment of silence or reverence and allowed people to pray if they wished as is done at NC high school football games. I think it would be ignorant to say that the administrators were dumb to the decree as it was a county wide decree and not a statewide decree. Sounds like a lot of pot stirring to me.
