Mat Staver and his staff have produced a 9-page review of the health care proposal, HR3200. This bill must be defeated. Every citizen needs to know the details of what is happening.
I'm grateful that someone sifted through 1,000 pages of horse manure. But, does the Liberty Counsel risk marginalizing itself as a right-wing / conservative legal group by doing something as this? This isn't a religious liberty debate. It's about health care.

On their home page, www.lc.org, it states "Restoring the Culture One Case at a Time by Advancing Religious Freedom, the Sanctity of Human Life and the Traditional Family". This bill directly impacts sanctity of life and traditional family.

People already look at LC like that...and that's ok. They are no different then the Heritage foundation.
