you're all losers.

Sirius smokes XM before breakfast, and will buy them out within 5 yrs anyway!

Siriusly, 8) , I prefer the selection - like I said, I've heard both and prefer Sirius. I'd advise you to listen to both before making a decision.

Also, depending on what brand of car you have, they install it at the factory now. I believe GM has XM, Ford products and a lot of foriegn makes have Sirius (I'm a Ford guy)

That explains a lot. Fix or repair daily. Found on road dead.

I have an Alpine cd player in my car which can be an XM receiver already, so that may push me towards XM. However, the music selection is more important to me than the sports. Give me ESPN Radio and good music and I'm set.

allrighty then.

considering the merger talks now in full swing- what do you Stern-haters think about it?

I'm just hoping they don't screw up all the content and raise my prices :x

that and I just like my channels the way they are.

I like the lineup of 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s Channels numbered as such.

I have DirecTv, which includes XM, and I just don't like their lineup- no clue what the heck they're talking about w/ this "Ethel", "Squizz", and whatever other screwy, non-descript names they use.

the content is very nearly identical, however- so I'm thinking that it wouldn't be a big deal to merge that stuff.

Would be nice to have MLB and the NHL under the same roof as NFL and Nascar, though.

That's funny, have have DishTV and that has Sirius. I don't ever listen to it though. Who turns on their TV and doesn't use the screen? That's like a step back in technology.

I put the radio portion on when doing my chores and/or bumming around the house or cruising the 'net.

esp if I'm bored with the selection on my mp3 player.

Here's a picture I found of Medic and his family. He's obviously the horse. I think it's pretty obvious that his wife is the one with the whip.

They are both really the same thing, just offer a little extras here and there. I have XM and love it (Especially the 80's channel and BBC world service) and the ACC Big 10 Pac 10 package is awesome. Friends that have Sirius said they got it for either Stern or the NFL package. Now that they have NASCAR I know of a few that are switching.
I am not 100% convinced that this merger is gonna happen. If it did I think it would be a bad thing b/c there is no competition at that point. The music channels are similar so the decision for those up in the air are the "xtras"> Since I am not driving much on Sunday's the NFL thing doesn't lite me fire.

i hated to see NASCAR go to sirius, but like haize im not driving on sunday so the NFL thing is NBD. being an ACC fan wa sthe reason i got XM, so while tailgating, i can listen to the other games going on instead of waiting for updates on ESPN radio.

SMOOTH You should be tailgating at all LU games and listening to the riveting pre game show. How can you call yourself a true fan if you are listening to OTHER teams???? You adulterous football fan you!
