50-person meth drug bust in my WV hometown

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A special grand jury has indicted 50 Jackson County residents on more than 1,000 meth charges including counts of conspiracy, manufacturing and distribution, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Bright said.
Among those arrested was Ravenswood resident Jessica Sullivan, a family law and criminal defense lawyer, he said. Most of the others were blue-collar workers and some who made their way only by selling meth, he said.
"Most are not professional people," he said. "Some have jobs such as construction or what have you."

I know I am not the most handsome man, but wow, are there some ugly people there. Meth is huge because the chemicals are pretty cheap and you make a pretty high profit margin. You also risk blowing yourself up.

Well, they made the raid at 5:00 a.m., and I'm not sure that anybody looks good that early in the morning; plus, it explains why so many of them had "bed head".
Arresting 50 people in a town of 4,000 is a huge percentage of the townspeople; I went to high school with some of those guys.

yeah mayfield isnt being very smart. if you choose to take on the establishment and fight the way drug testing is done you must stop using the drug. its kind of hard to fight "the man" when you are still using drugs.
