The Euros couldn't wait to get Bush out of here. Now Obama's giving them everything they wanted.
So now they have agreed to destroy our economy to do the impossible. Their goal? To not let global temperatures rise more than 2 degrees Celcius. I hope someone consulted the sun about this and got it to agree.
To do this, they have set the benchmark of cutting greehouse gas emissions worldwide by 50%, and in developed nations (the US being #1) by 80%! Someone explain to me how that is even possible without reverting back to pre-Industrial Revolution conditions.
Hopefully Obama is using the same tricks on the G8ers as he used on the majority of his voters, say one thing and do another.

President Obama and other leaders backed historic new targets for tackling global warming last night in an agreement designed to pave the way for a world deal in the autumn.
For the first time, America and the other seven richest economies agreed to the goal of keeping the world’s average temperature from rising more than 2C (3.6F).
They also agreed to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050 as they strove for a worldwide deal at Copenhagen in December.
