Is this the same guy from that other video?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find any major product these days whose parent corporation isn't connected to an organization you disagree with.

Watch the related video of "Young Baptists Throw Out Bibles" or whatever it is. That's five minutes of goodness right there.

If these guys are going to preach and throw bibles at the wall, perhaps they should take the time to read the scripture and pronounce it correctly. I wonder how their recruiting for the local militia is going?

havent watched this yet but I do know a pastor who was upset with LU having Pepsi on the umbrella's at Doc's diner saying they know we have a deal with Pepsi but he highly doubts having umbrella's with Pepsi all over it is in the deal. I had no idea what he was talking about but he did say something about them supporting Gay's or something.

Here is the thing, most corporations give money to the homosexual activist groups. Target does it once a month. Pepsi does it. Coke does it. Its a typical Baptist to boycott every company that gives money to something you do not support. If you don't like it, personally boycott it. If you didn't support companies who went against your values, you wouldn't be able to buy anything.

Target’s former president, who’s now Wal-Mart’s president, is gay.

What you mean is, "Way to stick to what I believe to be correct Christian morals."

As Christians, we have to be careful not to project our interpretation of Scripture upon others. Most people here on FF would interpret homosexuality as sin. A disagreeing interpretation to that exists (we've had that debate here), and it doesn't exist due to ignorance. A somewhat reliable argument can be made for homosexuality.

Therefore, its difficult to separate on this basis individually. If so, its based on personal interpretation and preference (in some cases, on both sides). Separation on these bases is exactly what has dwindled Fundamentalism.

Umm, no I’m pretty sure what he meant to say was exactly what he said.

Thank you, Manson, for clearing that up. Not only are HMO and I quite capable of speaking for ourselves, I'd bet he knows that I'm only playing devil's advocate on this one, an angle you predictably missed.

And, I'm able to play D.A. because this particular issue is extremely prevalent within my profession.

My apologies then, I missed that. I thought you saying that was out of character.

i think its safe to say that if i was a waiter and this guy sat at one of my tables i would put my wiener in his drink.

and then when he'd drink it i'd call him a queer.....and he would probably throw himself out a window....good times..

Yeah, what HMO said.

And for the record, Pepsi was donating money to be used by PFLAG for diversity training at large corporations. Its ok to disagree with my stance on homosexuality, but to utterly disrespect and insult people (and this is true on both sides) for holding a different viewpoint and having alternative attractions is just wrong.
