The Liberty University campus was honored by a visit from Don Malarkey, WWII veteran from the elite Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division on Monday, June 29. Malarkey was the guest speaker at a summer WWII history class taught by Liberty’s history department chair, David Snead.
Malarkey’s company was portrayed in the popular Band of Brothers television miniseries. He is also mentioned in the “Band of Brothers” book by Stephen Ambrose, on which the series was based.

So upset, wish I could have somehow met him. Anyone in that class by chance?

Also speaking of Band of Brothers, I just watched a trailor for "The Pacific", a new upcoming 10-hour miniseries made by all the same people on HBO, only this one is for the Pacific campaign. It looks eerily similar to Band of Brothers, so it will hopefully be equally as amazing.

No way. They need to announce this stuff before hand and open it to the public. I basically watch this whenever it's on and I am literally watching it right now as I type. I would love to Malarkey's hand.
