We watched it a few weeks ago. My daughters were watching in high anticipation for the scene where he puts on the Hello Kitty band-aid. That's the only thing they wanted to see.

Were you expecting a thrilling drama or something? It is what it is. Dumb teenage comedy. I bet you dropped a tear when you realized he got the girl in the end.

its my new yardstick for people when they tell me a movie is good...

"hey you should see ________ it was fantastic"

"oh really? did you see paul blart mall cop"

"yeah"

"did you like it?"

"yeah it was awesome"

"ok nevermind on the other movie you recommended, your opinion is worthless"

"wow thats kind of harsh"

"die"

That's the sad thing, none of these movies have the ability to be funny without being dirty, it's kind of pathetic and getting really tired. What's the last smart, creative, and witty comedy anyone's seen? I've heard The Hangover gets there, but still relies on a lot of gross-out humor for laughs.

Hot Fuzz.

Maybe not the last, but one of the latest. Juno was good too.

I liked Juno, but didn't really consider it much of a comedy. Is that really what it was supposed to be?

I don't think it was a comedy. I just think it was a good movie.

Seriously? I was laughing almost nonstop during Juno. I guess deadpan humor isn't everyone's thing.
