I think I speak for everyone when I say, 'who cares what Stephen Collins has to say?'

I know it was a part written for him, but I used to want to throw something at the TV for the way his wife would walk all over his spineless character!

certainly Jesus never says anything about executing people. I go to church, I'm a Christian. I think it’s interesting that so many political Christians support the death penalty when Jesus Christ never says a single, slight word about putting people to death, never even slightly. I don't know where they're coming from as Christians. I don't understand.
Some Christians believe that Romans 13 teaches that capital punishment is one of the options that civil magistrates may use to punish evildoers. Specifically v. 4 which says,
4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing.

I first read this topic and thought, "Giving the death penalty to politicians?"
