Ok so I'm leaving for Vegas on Sunday. Any tips on what to do while out there? I already have Blue Man Group tickets so that's one thing I'm doing. I'll be out there for 7 days (to long I know, but we had the place for a week).

I plan on buying one of those Las Vegas guides with a lot of the deals.....Slickdeals swears by them so I will give it a shot.

Anything else from anyone who's been there recently?

I'd go see Penn & Teller if I was going, but I've never been.

Have Barkley and Jordan give you tips for how to work the tables and machines and sportsbooks.

I have never lost money in a casino...Been 3 times...I really dont want to follow their lead on that side of it :D

Not to mention I truly believe Jondan's gambling is the reason he had to take a year away from the NBA and MAYBE what happened to his dad. If it can bring down Jordan like that, just think what they could do to me...yet another reason to keep it under control

Haha, I know, but the first thing I think of when I see Vegas is gambling... I would never gamble cuz I'm the kind of gullible idiot who would lose a ton of money.

When you are walking down the strip and everyone is trying to hand you some advertisement, grab it, pull out a pen, sign it, and then hand it back to them. Then just keep walking. Pretty soon you'll have others asking for your autograph and wanting to take pictures with you.

Ride the New York New York Coaster.

Gamble for 18-24 straight hours and then get get a 30 minute session of oxygen and a massage. Then rinse and repeat.

Venture out into the desert at least once, for anything.

Stuff yourself silly at buffets.

Go to old vegas at least once.

Play triple threat.

Quote swingers as much as possible but not in front of other people.

I think that covers it. At least for a first trip.

HMO - was going to be there Monday and Tuesday for business, but I'm rescheduling now.

Play black jack switch at Bill's Salon.

Play in a Hold'em tournament at Planet Hollywood - main event of the day starts at 8:00 I believe.

Watch 21 and learn how to count cards (this is more effective if you have a team with you who knows what they're doing).

Go to the Stratosphere, ride the Big Shot, X-Scream, and Insanity the ride.

I was there a month or so ago and even bumped into FSN32. Suffice it to say Vegas is really desperate. Most of the places on the Strip are dead except on weekends.

I walked down Strip on weeknight and the illegal handing out prostitution cards to tourist ratio was probably 3-to-1.

In-N-Out Burger just a couple of blocks of Strip behind New York New York and Excalibur is a must to get your cheap & tasty fix.

The Big Shot is gone. There are casino projects sitting dormant that will likely have to be torn down. Frankly the glitz is slipping away. Even with that in mind, it is still a blast.

I gave the WSOP some serious thought....well one of the events not the main event. I just chose not to do that on this trip. However that is one thing on my bucket list. :D

Went to New York New York today, and the B...good times already...i need to learn to pace myself though 7 days can be a long time!

Go to the palms on Thursday, not Wednesday but thursday..... Wednesday is some type of industry night and there are a bunch of no name rappers with their posse. But Thursday night pool parties are supposedly the real deal. (Its a pool up on the 30th or so floor that hangs off the building).
