Ok, so I know you can now fax using email. However what do you need to do in order to use a fax machine connected to the internet? Would this be something I should wait to do until I get my internet number from Google Voice?

Yes I've searched online but really only come up with email to fax services for free. I'm sure someone on here must have a fax machine connected to wifi or Ethernet

Why do you need the fax? You can go to cnet downloads and download a shareware program called MightyFax. It operates as a printer driver. So anything you want to fax, you just print to your "Mightyfax" printer. Then, when you open the program, what you "printed" appears on a spreadsheet list for you to send.

You can also receive faxes through mightyfax.

I think it works great...and I think it's something like $15 after the free trial is over.

If you can receive fax's too then that would work great. I cant wait until people start accepting electronic signature's so fax's will no longer be needed

fax's are still useful for stuff that doesn't need a signature. let's say you have something in the archives that someone at another organization needs, it's a heck of a lot faster to just fax it than it is to scan it, save it, attach it to an email, then send it.
